What are Dinkey Dongles?

Dinkey Dongle is the original Dinkey model. It prevents illegal copying of your software by locking it to a hardware key (dongle) that plugs neatly into a USB port of a computer.

Dinkey has now been largely superseded by Dinkey Pro and Dinkey FD. If you are looking for a protection and licensing system for Windows-only software, then you should use these new products.

Secure - Not only is the hardware ultra-secure but, more importantly, the software that interrogates the dongle contains numerous anti-debug and encryption techniques that make the complete package one of the most secure available.

Packed with features - Dinkey 2 allows you to control the number of times your program is executed, set an expiry date, run for a limited number of days and control which parts of your program are usable. Additionally, it enables you to change any of these parameters remotely by issuing your customer with a unique, secure code.

Cross-Platform - The USB dongles work on all Windows Operating Systems (including Vista, Windows 7 and x64 operating systems but excluding Windows CE and Pocket PC), Linux and Mac OS X (Intel and Power PC chipsets). In addition DinkeyNet dongles function across all networks. The same dongle can be transferred between all these platforms without reprogramming.
